Indigenous Young Women: Speaking Our Truths, Building Our Strengths



Amanda Mudry

Amanda comes from the Cree and Haudenosaunee nations, and has been active in Yukon for a number of years. As an auntie of many, she takes seriously her role in passing on culture and tradition in her community. She has worked extensively with Aboriginal communities and is an active volunteer. She has a background in a variety of fields, and has dedicated her time to supporting community-based approaches to Aboriginal women’s equality in the health, economic and legal fields.
